Aquila Hills Australian Natives

🌱 Discover Australian native plants one species at a time with Aquila Hills Australian Natives.

Based in Lismore, New South Wales, Aquila Hills Australian Natives creates thoughtfully curated Monthly Discovery Kits featuring Australian native seeds, growing and germination information, botanical knowledge, science, ecology, creative activities and hands-on observation of the natural world.

Each Discovery Kit focuses on a different Australian native species, giving gardeners, nature lovers and curious minds the opportunity to grow an Australian native plant from seed while learning about its ecology, life cycle, adaptations, natural history and place in the Australian landscape.

🌿 Grow • Learn • Connect

The kits are designed to be more than simply a packet of seeds. Each monthly discovery combines practical native seed growing and germination guidance with a collectible species profile, nature-based experiments, observation activities, botanical information and creative ways to explore the featured plant.

Aquila Hills grew from founder Rebecca's fascination with Australian plants and seeds through her scientific background in fire ecology and seed germination research. The idea is simple: rather than trying to discover everything at once, slow down, grow one species and really get to know the remarkable Australian native flora around us.
